Nothings prefect, neither am I.
You know, I've been on my own for far too long. Not that I'm unhappy with the situation, I have my dogs, my work is interesting and varied, and, I've recently bought a new house in the area that is in need of much remedial work. So I have plenty to occupy my time.
I'm quite happy with my own company. Yes I enjoy a night out, but I don't seek the loud, brash, glitzy, quick fix venues that many seem to enjoy. I much prefer quiet thoughtful time with intelligent articulate people.
Flawed? Yes, aren't we all. I've had my share of lifes disappointments, carried the baggage for a while, but have realised that once those bags are dropped, you are stronger for the experience.
Honesty, loyalty and courtesy are my bywords.
You can never tell much from a photo nor a few lines of thought. It would be nice to find a 55 -65 year old lady, within 20 -25 miles from home. Lunch, dinner or just a chat over coffee. If something is "there" that can be developed, nice. If not we'll politely say goodbye and wish each other well. All comers are invited, my only exception is obesity. If you're size 18 dress or above, don't waste your time or mine. Ideally you will live within 20 - 30 miles of me. I see little point in trying to form a relationship with someone who is 2 or more hours drive away.
