I've been on my own for 7 years, in the last 4 years free from the burden of provider (my 4 children are all young adults with their own careers) I've enjoyed finding out who I am, and to determine the priorities in my life. Only recently after a brief, erratic relationship that I decided to seek someone with whom I can relate, intellectually, emotionally, physically and spiritually, with whom to share some life experiences.
I've managed to carve for myself a simple lifestyle which allows me time to contemplate life, to explore whatever subject is of interest, and to spend time lavishly with a few close friends and my children - 3 of whom are in Cape Town. In general, I do work, often on a particular project, once completed, I then settle back, this allows me to avoid drudgery.
