Being in the ocean is one thing. And although it can be therapy for some, it also has a sense of calming the soul. Even just sitting while waiting for the next set can sometimes provide a sense of relaxation for me. To gaze back on the landscape from the line up provides a sense of serenity and peace, and for those who can appreciate the simplicity of the kind of peace that can be attained from this kind of experience, is a natural high all its own. Dancing on a piece of some sort of floatation device while feeling the energy of an ocean swell is a unique feeling all its own, it’s what we chase, it’s what we first think about when we wake up in the morning. Always looking for and chasing the next swell. To be able to live a lifestyle that allows me to enjoy one of Gods unique creations is what gets me up everyday!
