The real life rapunzel

RapunzelsLegacy (Female) from USA, Shaw A F B

Hi, my name's Collette, and I'm really here for the curiosity more than anything. I would like to meet someone through here, just because, well.. you never know right? Well a little about me... You may have noticed that I have what many people have described to me as "Excessively" long hair. I really resent that opinion because I feel that long hair is the most feminine and most beautiful adornment a woman can have. I cherish my hair more than anything in the world, and I'm planning on growing my hair to at least my ankles and then maybe more, I love the idea of being able to trip over my own hair but, I don't know yet, we'll see *smile* I'm really easy to get along with after a while (I don't put up a bitchy front or anything, I'm just naturally shy) having a fun sense of humor will get me to warm up faster. I'm told I would make an excellent teacher, I would like to teach in the 3th grade. Right now I work at a movie theatre as an usher. My friends like me best for my unconditional love, I would do anything for them. They also make fun of me because I'm a little clumsy. I'm very tidy and neat I have a thing for keeping my surroudings immaculate, not in an OCD kind of way but I can be a bit of a neat freak. I like fantasy romance books to psychological thrillers, but I usually stick to non-fiction. I also do a little writing, mostly just for myself. I like learning about different points of view in the world and I adore poetry, and I love a good freaky horror flick too lol Uhmmmm lesse, I like to keep active, swim, play volleyball, and jog, my main work-out activity is cheer leading. and Yes I do cheer with my hair down and loose if you were wondering :P and yes I do tend to resemble cousin itt afterwards lol* My all-time favourite hobby would have to be just staying in and caring for my hair. I know that doesn't sound like much of a "hobby" but it's the one I get most enjoyment out of.

Now about my mate...I'm generally pretty shy, so I would like someone who is extroverted (because opposites attract), and I need someone who can teach me to loosen up a bit. If your a dismissive like I am, that's perfectly ok too. Must be driven by something, as long as it's not just about money. Another must is someone who can make me laugh. As you can see I don't put up alot of restrictions, so basically don't be a jerk. :P I do though have to mention that if you do not like long hair, you may find me to be more of a burden then an actual girlfriend. What I lack in emotional baggage, I more than make up for in the length of my hair lol I only mention this because more than enough of my past relationships have ended because they simply couldn't cope with my tresses. If that sounds silly to you then please, keep reading. What I need from a partner is someone who can love me for me of course, but also respects my devotion to my hair. I take great pleasure in someone who assists me with washing my hair, spends long romantic periods of time brushing my hair, or just playing with my hair. However, there are some possible drawbacks I feel I should warn you about. 1.) You can expect alot of surprise attacks by my hair, (if it's windy, Brace Yourself!!), 2.) Washing my hair can occupy me for close to an hour, not to mention combing it out after while it dries, (which is another hour) 3.) Watch out for my hair when shutting doors, and 4.) always.. Always look down before sitting next to me! Whew, think you can handle that? haha Ok good! Let me know if your interested. Bub-bye Now! Mmmuah

I would say my most major accomplishment would have to be my most obvious one... my hair. Ever since I can remember I've always wanted to have loooong elegant, luxurious locks. My mom provided much consultation, and has never given me a word of discouragement. I value our relationship more than anything else. When I was around 10 or 11 I gave in to the peer pressure and had cut my hair up to the middle of my back (at the time my hair was approaching my calves) I was depressed for a whole month and I still regret ever having done that. When I had finally grown my hair back to where I could sit on it again, a manic scissor-happy hair stylist lobbed off 8 inches of my hair after only asking for a 12 inch trim. I was a wreck and retreated to my room for weeks. From then on I vowed never to go to a professional stylist, and I only let my mom do my trims. I have since then grown my hair back to it's rightful place and couldn't be happier. My hair is my most precious possession so I spend a notable amount of time caring for it. I'm always trying to find the best shampoos, conditioners and treatments for my hair. If I'm in a particularly nurturing mood, I've been known to spend hours in the shower, and I often loose myself while I'm brushing my hair. heheh *blush* So aside from my hair being my proudest personal achievement, I thing I value above all else are the relationships I have with my family and friends, I simply couldn't ask to be surrounded by a cast of more amazing people.
