I am not looking for a boyfriend or someone to pass the time for a few months or years. I can look after myself and only want a good man who will complete my happiness and truthfully I'd like someone to look after my heart if I decide to give it to him.
What I am looking for is a man who will be faithful physically and emotionally so I can feel secure in the relationship. I'd like to meet someone who has truly moved on from their ex partners and who would like to build a future together.
I am looking for someone who will give me the whole of his heart, try his best to make me happy and care about my feelings and stick up for me.
I know the set of standards I need in a relationship to make it work for me. I know I must have a monogamous relationship with someone who will look after his health and stress levels,someone who eats well, doesn't smoke and doesn't drink too much, who will be capable of showing that he loves me, communicate properly, spend time toguether and cares to make me happy. I want all this with someone I could picture as my future husband and father of my children. I know that this man would have to be dedicated to me, faithful physically and in his heart and be willing to do what it takes to get the relationship to work. This is how it would work for me and maybe it is a lot to ask but I will not settle for less. As I wrote before I know I can look after myself and I want that guy only if he is prepared to add to my happiness. I know it would be a great strength to have a strong relationship in the face of what life has in store but I also know I'd rather be alone than with somebody who is not up to the task. I don't mind being alone but I don't want to feel alone if I am supposed to be in a relationship with someone.
