I come from a Croatian and Italian background and family is very important to me. I had the pleasure of taking my mom back to the Island of Korchula where her father, my grandfather, was born. It was a life changing experience for both of us and it gave me such happiness to see what the trip meant to my mom.
Financial stability is important but money is not - let me explain...I think being financially responsible is a positive thing but I'm a firm believer you can have an amazing time without spending money. Sometimes a long walk with the right person is great or snuggling on the couch on a rainy day watching a movie or good game on tv.
