I'm going to take a different unconventional approach to writing this prologue. My name is Ibu (that's pronounced eye-boo) born and raised in Brooklyn. I'm a simple, humble man who looks for the simplicity in what appears to be complex situations. I'm a caring, loving man, non judgemental man who knows there are issues and situations in this world that are bigger than me yet need my unconditional attention and assistance. Although life is unpredictable and at times challenging I look at the glass half full oppose to half empty. I detect the blessings oppose to the horrors. I look at the positives oppose to the negatives. I'm embracing oppose to abrasive. I'm a considerate man who by default put others before myself. I'm a loyal friend and a nurturer by nature. I work hard in my professional life and play harder in my personal life. I enjoy fashion, music, cinema, arts, wine, single malt, premium cigars, social events, dinner parties and over the top laughter. Humor and laughter is paramount towards my well-being. Humor and laughter is equally important as oxygen, without it I'll die. At times my love can be intense and drive away the faint at heart. My provocative intuitiveness can frighten most. My thoughts, ideas and personality most often than not invigorate. After a night of drinking I snore...loudly, lol. I'm a good listener but sometimes (unwittingly) I'm known to interrupt...I don't like that about myself, but I'm consciously working to change that and welcomes when someone checks me on it. My vigorous presence can be intimidating which I hate, but comes in handy when volunteering in not so friendly environments :-). I'm a brother to four, a father to one, a grandfather to one, an uncle to eight, a cousin to many and a friend to all. I could go on and on but to really know me is getting to know me .
