Rather than write the boring "Hi, Im 25, I play the piano, and Im looking for my dream-girl" stuff that youve all heard a billion and one times before ), Id like to try something a little different. Ive decided to ask myself seven random questions, and answer them. (I originally had ten, but that went over characters.) Q: What is your favorite color? A: Blue! (No, yellow!) Seriously, its a particular shade of sapphire blue. I have NO CLUE why. Q: What is your favorite mixed drink? A: Malibu Rum and orange juice. I dont think theres a deep reason for this I tried it as an experiment one day, and found the taste delightful. Q: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? A: Coffee, I think, because it was the first "non-traditional" (meaning anything other than vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry) I discovered. Q: When do you do your best work? A: When I truly care about and enjoy what Im doing. I hate "work for the sake of working" I love "work for the sake of the work". Q: What kind of clothing do you prefer to wear? A: Whatever feels most comfortable. Honestly, unless Im in a situation where its important to wear a "costume," Im much more concerned with how clothes feel than how they look. Q: What is your favorite novel? A: I think Id have to go with _To Kill A Mockingbird_, which I will reread someday, I promise! But the fact that I read it once, eleven years ago, and its stayed with me strongly all this time is proof that its something really special. (Edit: About two weeks after writing that sentence, I kept my promise!) Q: Where would you most like to bring a date? A: The Metropolitan Opera Im a classical music junkie, and thats the best of the best. Ideally, wed pick a particularly romantic opera, such as _La Boheme_ or _Tristan und Isolde_. Intrigued?
