I am a young (mind, spirit and body) good looking and intelligent 53 year old Black man of dual heritage. I am 6'2", proud of my African heritage, and comfortable with the life that I have been blessed with.
I am of gentle spirit and caring to others, a single parent of two children who are both now teenagers and developing a life for themselves.
I am well travelled, ambitious and a reflective person that is continually growing. I am tactile, like to dress well and enjoy the finer things in life. I like to laugh and hear the laughter of others around me and I do not sit in judgment of others.
I enjoy traveling, reading, walks and writing. I stay healthy but mainly do this through eating well, walking, swimming and occasionally playing tennis or badminton. I treat others how I like to be treated and the footprints that I leave behind are mainly positive.
My faults. I am out of touch with the dating scene, shy on occasions, don’t like the small talk, the chat up routines, the game play and I feel I have lost the art of courting. I am quiet and reserved and can be a bit forgetful. My kid’s think that I am a bit of a pushover. they say I can’t dance, sing, or tell jokes but I enjoy proving them wrong and being an embarrassment to them.
I have now reached the stage in my life where I would like to meet my life partner, I have dreams for the future that includes travelling, establishing a business in a part of Africa or on one of the Caribbean Islands. My dreams are not written in stone, they can be shaped and accommodate the dreams of my partner.
I would love to meet a Black woman from any part of the world who is caring and has a similar spirit to myself, seeking similar things out of life. I am looking for a woman who looks after herself, who is confident and comfortable with herself and grounded.
