I am 60 years old, widowed now for almost a year.My son, his wife and I moved here so she could take care of her mother, who is sick. We are living at her mother's house, and are trying to find a place we can afford to move into. I am a USCG veteran, who is disabled (but still fully functional, hehe),after almost 30+ years in the building industry. I use a cane, but get around quite well. I may be 60, but I feel like 40. I was married for 41 years to my high school sweetheart, until she passed this last Mother's Day. I am looking for companionship, friendship, and someone who might be able to ease this loneliness and heartbreak that I feel. I am on SSDI and only get a pittance of a paycheck, but it's enough to pay rent and such. I am mainly here for my son.
