I used to fly down to Mexico every winter for a few months to escape the cold and fill my eyes with color, warmth and culture. Not this Covid year. I used to feel guilty leaving the winter behind and returning in the Spring. Feeling like I didn't deserve to enjoy the Magnolias on Commonwealth Avenue, or the Cherry Blossoms along the Charles. But I'm over that now.
I think we will all deserve a glorious, vaccinated Springtime this coming new year.
