I am a genius, I recently won the Nobel Prize for Literature, I am going to Heaven--What else?! Born in Chattanooga, moved 100 miles to Knoxville & entered University of TN, graduated with a BA in English. Goal was to become a writer. Didn't work hard enough at it & probably wouldn't have scored if I did...who knows? My son John, however, became a published writer who won prizes and became a professor of Lit at U. of VA. I'd like for that to rub off on me if you don't mind since where would he be without me?! I have a wonderful daughter...& a wonderful son from previous tragi-comic marriage. I am lucky they are all bonded with me. This keeps me sane and going....I am a bit introverted so I am lucky to have family and a few friends still extant....
