hi there!
Well I guess I've reached the conclusion that life is an experience best shared, so here I am giving internet dating a go.
How to describe myself? I want to say I don't know really - I find the 'self' to be a fluid rather nebulous sort of thing - but I realize that's not very helpful. Well I think I would describe myself as being both 'masculine' and yet sensitive too (I should say that I don't necessarily have to drink six pints in order to get in touch with my feelings!). I would say I'm both intelligent and bookish - I like to think and learn about this world in which I find myself. And I would also say I'm both outward going and yet capable of introspection. I have a keen sense of the 'inner' life and although I may not have much money, I think I can say that I'm rich in spirit! (although perhaps this is less so when I first get out of bed in the morning...I like Oscar Wilde's quip - "dull people are always brilliant at breakfast!")
Am I perfect? Obviously not! And neither are you...but maybe we're just right for each other.
My ideal is to meet someone whom I can love and care for and also someone with whom I can build a family life.
It is my ambition to 'make it' as a novelist - I have high hopes for what I'm working on at the moment - and hopefully this will bring (plenty of) money in for us.
