I started my journey in tourism and hospitality as a waiter and had the privilege of learning the art and craft on the job and eventually progressed through the ranks up until restaurant supervisor. Additionally, during my tenure in the tourism and hospitality industry, I took a short break to work as the elected President of the L. Maabaidhoo Council. I was unfortunately let go when the industry came to a halt during the COVID-19 pandemic.
