I am writing this for my good friend Andy.
He is one of the most amazing and surprising people you'll ever meet. With a tattooed Harley rider exterior, you could make the mistake of thinking he is a super tough guy. However, once you see beneath, he will surprise you with his gentle nature, wicked sense of humour, and genuine kindness. Nothing is too much effort for his friends, and he'll always go the extra mile to help. But be warned, his tough exterior comes from being hurt in the past, so if you're not as fiercely loyal as he is, please don't mess with him any more.
Andy has had a very interesting life so far, with an eclectic CV of previous jobs, and even more unusual hobbies.
He is an assistant leader at a scout group and is occasionally one of the wardens at the scout campsite. A member of the local radio club, he is also involved with their paranormal subgroup, running ghost hunt evenings to raise funds for the group. He has an incredible African Grey parrot, called Red (her tail), who is so smart, curious, and loves having her head scratched, bowing like a jester in court.
Finally, and most unusually, we know each other well from meeting at a weekly art group, where this tattooed Harley tough guy comes and does the most exquisite and complex cross-stitch and embroidery I've ever seen. He has a real talent!
Anyway, he deserves someone in his life who can make him happy, fulfilled, and loved. In return, you will find a true diamond in the rough, who will care for you like no other, make you laugh, hold you when you cry, and best of all, he makes a mean cuppa too!
