Me... I'm not particularly looking to date etc., im seriously looking for GENUINE, PLATONIC, BONA FIDE friends. (My profile clearly states friendship which is an option given on this site for those of you who cant read very well!) Its so nice to have a coffee, or hot chocolate in my case, and a chat with a mate.. I do, however, like a man in a suit... he has that certain ..je ne sais quoi. Jeans are fine for shopping, rambling and lounging but you cant beat a smart, tidy man! :-) or even a nice pair of trousers and a clean, ironed shirt :-).
I adore the theatre and would very much like someone to accompany me (no, you don't need to wear a suit, smart-casual is fine). Other interests include.. the night sky, quizzespuzzles, learning to play guitar, learning to speak Spanish but need some help!, reading, engines (steam, combustion, jet), sci-fi and lots lots more. Im quite inquisitive; love to keep learning new things.
I particularly like comedy and sci-fi but I am not into horror, gore etc. Im somewhat of a star trek fan but i don't do the trekkie dressing up stuff! I also really enjoyed Stargate Atlantis.. wow, those wraith! nasty but intriguing characters.
I like most music but not the head banging stuff or that horrible repetitive stuff that has no real rhythm etc. Some of my more favourite artists are.. Elliott smith, Elton john, Dire Straits, Maroon 5, Squeeze, Pretenders, Randy Crawford. Also, Nat King Cole, Vince Damone and some classical music.
I love to travel both uk and abroad. I've been to a few amazing places overseas but there are lots of places I would still like to visit.
I find aeroplanes fascinating .. also spectacular bridges; amazing feats of engineering! or maybe i'm just strange haha
I work full time and enjoy my job.
I don't like sport and know nothing about it so cant converse on this subject (except the world cup).
I love to walk along the coast.. the sea air is exhilarating .. but i cant go to the coast without playing on the penny shove etc.. and then be a bit naughty and have a junky burger haha
I very much enjoy intelligent and interesting conversation but I like to have a giggle too :-)
I enjoy decent food and I believe I eat fairly healthily but I also enjoy the likes of a fresh cream chocolate
