Life, plans, hopes, dreams etc don't always go the way you expect. At least we can trust in God's sovereignty, but it's usually easier to believe that when things are going swimmingly well and from our perspective rosy.
Perhaps unusually for a bloke, I enjoy shopping - both aimless browsing and purposeful acquiring, although usually the best bit is finding an obscure and quirky coffee shop, when its time rest ones feet. I prefer iced coffee (or even better: an ale) to a hot drink, but I find the smell of roasted coffee (and fresh bread) intoxicating.
I firmly believe that the fellowship of the church is an ordinary gift and means of grace given to us by our loving Heavenly Father, but that often the church struggles to know how to relate to singles - whether they are single by choice or default.
