Many years ago I was into photography in a big way. Semi pro shot weddings, and senior portraits as well as finev art B&W. Every summer they had an art show in downtown Grand Rapids, Mi, simply called Festival. Performing arts, as well as visual arts. I had a couple of pieces I thought would be good, no artist is allowed to enter more than two pieces. That was perfect for me because I only had the two pieces any way. much to my surprise they both were accepted. they spent 3 months on display in they art museum. A few weeks after the event I got a call from the museum asking me to come in to speak about them. Public speaking and me never got along but I managed to pull it off. Should've had a couple cocktails before to loosen up a bit but that came later.
