As 2015 comes to a close i can look back and consider myself very lucky to have been diagnosed with a form of cancer and come out the other end alive! despite surgery and much discomfort over the past 6-7 months i am overjoyed to still be here.
I'm slowly getting back to health! for once in my life i'm actually enjoying the pain i get from muscles i havent used in quite some time.
Ive been popping in and out of Pof for the last couple of months but not committing myself to any online conversing with any member of the opposite sex, until now. :-)
As a result of my cancer filled summer my attitude towards life has changed completely!! As soon as I am back on my feet and able to carry on living my life then I will grab it with both hands and never look back. I think that has to include looking for a good lady to share it with.
Im a single parent to a teen boy who is independent and doesn't need his Dad watching over him (apart from when i'm being a taxi driver) so that means i have more time on my hands.
I've been single for a while now but its time i found someone to share my free time with!!
Honesty is very important to me and i'm looking for someone who isn't afraid to show their true feelings...
I would prefer to be told something that i didn't like but was the truth instead of being lied to just to keep me happy.
I love to laugh and am the first to laugh at my own expense, I love that quality in others :)
I do of course have a serious side and when its called for i can have intelligent conversations but also be completely silly (isn't that what keeps us young)
I am very easy to talk to and am a great listener. These qualities have made me a few online friends over the years but that is as far as its got. i'm now looking to find someone who i can share those qualities with.
If we start chatting and there is clearly a mutual interest then you will have my 100% attention. I dont believe in chatting to multiple women at the same time...that just confuses things and doesn't feel right.
