I am a genuine easy going guy ..... just looking for that someone special to share life with. I am not in a rush to find that person, willing to take time to build up a relationship and let it develop. I love the countryside and like nothing better than to get out there and enjoy it. I enjoy the Theatre and a good movie either at the cinema or at home preferably with some delightful company and a bottle of wine to share .... I still have a full wine rack.
I'm looking for an uncomplicated life in a relationship with someone who has decided they want the long haul - they want to build up some history and memories together, whether they be good or bad ones ... BUT! I’m not a desperate social inadequate who wants the first person that comes along, I am not that desperate or unhappy ... and I will be nobody's second best ... you will be someone honest, truthful, reliable, confident and emotionally strong, you will know what you want and be ready to find it! I DON'T have a long list of what I'm looking for - we will know if we 'click' or not, after all, that's what it's all about, isn't it? Someone, like me, who has decided they really want to make the effort to develop a great relationship, it's uncomplicated (nobody else, ex's etc, involved or still in your head, in which case why are you here?) ... I don't HAVE to find someone, I would LIKE to find someone. I am not a mindreader, nor do I expect you to be one and it is also no skill I intent to acquire in the near or far future; "clear communication" being the keywords here. (If you say "I´ll call you in two hours" it should mean roughly 120 minutes) I also don´t run a help-program. If you need somebody to help you to overcome your addictions, emotions, your financial problems, your ex or some drama ... please move on.
On a good day I can cook a 3 course gourmet meal in 15 mins, pilot a boeing 757 and tread water .... On a bad day I'll go for a long walk on my own and sit on the beach and chill, then I'll come home and kiss and make up. I'll always go that extra mile for the right person, ideally I'm looking for the same in return.

On a recent birthday which happened to be one of my best ever. I got a lovely card from my daughter which really touched my heart and brought a few tear's to my eye's and made me feel so proud .... It said:
Dads tend to think of birthdays as just another day and simply let them slip right by in their unassuming way - but Dad, you're one in a million and you deserve some words of praise to make your birthday stand apart from ordinary days - Dad you're really special and it's time that you were told that when they made you there's no doubt, they really broke the mould - You're really great in lots of ways your advice is always sound, and its true to say that you're a Dad who's good to have around.
Wouldn't it be nice if I could find someone who would look at me and think that of me as a partner in their life .... their one in a million. Not just anyone .... 999,999 women could say that to me but it would have to be my one in a million for it to be right. I think that is what we are all looking for and hoping to find. Special people rarely cross our paths and when they do we must embrace them and hope that they will stay in our lives forever .... don't let them slip through your fingers. BAD THINGS
Liars, cheats, cheats, cheats so bloody many out there .... sex offenders grrrr, missing children .... people who constantly think that they can have what they want when they want because they believe that they are so attractive .... real beauty comes from within so it is most important what is on the inside and not the outside .... now don't get me wrong there has to be a physical attraction but you have to look deeper into their heart to find real beauty !!
