I was born in the England of Jamaican parentage. As a result, I love spicy food, particularly Indian and Thai. Next is my love of music, with Soul, Reggae, Jazz, Latin and funky house at the top of my list. At the last count I had 10,000 vinyl records, so I guess that makes me a bit of a closet DJ. I used to play a bit of football, but had so many injuries that I'm taking a break. I love the water but I swim like a brick, which definitely doesn't stop me diving straight in at the deep end. I'm an easy-going kinda guy, who is naturally confident, generous, kind and affectionate. I have had my fair share of relationship drama, and being older and wiser now, I definitely prefer a quieter life. I have learned that arguments are energy-sapping, sole-destroying affairs in which there are never any winners. I'm only competitive when it comes to sports and Sudoku, against the clock of course. I love holidays in the sun (tried skiing but I'm crap, dodgy knees don't help)and enjoy relaxing getting burned to a crisp on my sunbed with a good book, preferably non-fiction.
