I'm a recent Bachelor of the Arts graduate who enjoys abstract painting with acrylic and oils on canvas, staying active, travelling, learning languages, and going to gigs. My favourite genres of music include rock, various sub-genres of metal, and new wave. I'm currently learning Swedish and have a trip planned for Malmö when things are safer in the world.
I'm self-employed, selling my paintings and commissions in the interim of a Masters degree next year. After double retinal detachment I'm now blind, using a screenreader on my phone to navigate the internet, and have a beautiful nine year old Guide Dog. My mental health took a huge hit from my traumatic experiences, and I have anxiety, panic disorder, and PTSD. Mindfulness and spiritualism have been paramount in my healing, though progress isn't linear.
