I've learned quite a bit through my life. I think that many of those lessons are better shared one-on-one, instead of in a few words here in black and white, but it boils down to learning that in order to be happy with someone else, we must first be happy with ourselves. It is a long slow process and it is a work in process more than a point at which you arrive. Progress not perfection.
I've done the work to get to a good even place, and I'm ready to spend time with someone who mirrors the qualities that I've worked hard to cultivate in myself. Being a good listener, having a willing heart that will not only offer but receive , and being honest are all important qualities that I not only seek, but believe that I offer.
