It also says that the wife should submit to the husband in all things.
But, it also says do not associate with evil doers and do not leave a marriage if 1 is a non believer. So, I must find a believer and not be unequally yoked.
About Domestic Discipline; a man answers to God and there are many verses in the bible about chastising Gods and using the rod and the backs of fools and sinners. It also mentions it will not harm it will cleanse their sins.
So, I am a firm believer that my future mate needs to be a spiritual and loving good leader who leads with the rod of discipline.
It also says in the Bible that the husband is to love and cherish and not to be to harsh, for you became 1 flesh in marriage. So, discipline with love.
