First of all, do not assume you already know what I'll be like! You'll be very, very, VERY surprised!
As I grew up in the north of England, I'm not *at all* influenced by heavy black culture as you probably already assume I'll be. My friends are my friends because of *who* they are, not *what* they are. My taste in music is mainly US alternative rock and 80s stuff. Not into soul, reggae, etc, etc. I like hip hop beats and catchy, more upbeat tunes only because they were fantastic to dance to when I was at uni and when I used to go clubbing.
I can get on with pretty much anyone and am very endearing. I tend to grow on people quickly and stay in mind - for good reasons!!!
I like all the "usual" stuff such as meeting up with friends, spending time alone sometimes, going to the gym, using the internet, listening to and procuring music, going to restaurants, travelling (like to learn languages and have a good knowledge of French and Italian).
I'm looking for someone who I can share all the above with and who can share their interests & experiences - themselves - with me as well.
*And*, of course, someone who is, too, a little different from what would be expected. Someone who is comfortable *not* conforming to stereotypes - whatever they may be...!!
