Mainly a Star Trek NG fan but do love the others as well. Thinking about this a lot lately about why I like especially Star Trek NG and I figured it wasn't the technology, the acting, the stories or the captain etc, even though those things are brilliant, it has much more do to with the philosophy of the show that started with the original series. It's optimism for mankinds future, the social system they live in etc, that's what makes it fascinating and endlessly rewatchable for me.
A bit about my personality, I am an introvert with difficulties with anxiety and depression, especially social anxiety, but even though I struggle to do some things others find easy, I try to overcome these things no matter how hard it seems, so I put myself forward a lot for things that are considered challenging.
