I am sentimental, and I have worked my entire life to be understanding. As a Monogamous man, I believe in loyalty. My word is my bond. I expect that people close to me are the same. Friendship has a meaning to me – it’s just not a word. Love is something that grows like a puppy that turns into your best friend over time.
I grew up with a family that loved the outdoors. Consequently, I love outdoor activities. I have owned horses, repelled down mountains and caves, and love a quiet evening by a lake with the crickets singing. Exploring and adventure have been in my blood my entire life.
My past includes the Army and Vietnam. After the military, I worked in a technical position that kept me highly paid and employed until I retired. I have a great retirement income. I was happily 48 years married, but several years ago my wife passed away.
I know there is a future for me that can allow me to enjoy life with someone special. Sharing life with someone is important to me, smart, and witty. I like my solitude, and I am happy with life. But laughter is better when it is shared. Life has more meaning when we can have discussions about nothing – share thoughts and wake up to coffee and a smile. If you understand how I feel, maybe we can talk and share a beginning with each other.
