An incredibly wise man (my mum) told me that if I ever met someone who could turn a grocery shop into a fun adventure, then that was a great basis for any relationship. His observation fits well with the acclaimed genius Dr Seuss, who, after numerous, longitudinal, globally funded research projects concluded that “We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it to love". I completely agree with both of them which makes it impossible for me to simply rhyme off a list of set criteria that I admire or would look for in a man.
