Born and lived in south east London for first 50 years of my life where I was teaching Geography at 2 Bromley establishments for 30 years. Did a fantastic teacher exchange year in New Zealand during 1981 and returned again in 2012. Have enjoyed extensive travel, but would love to explore new places. Retired early from teaching in 2006 due to hearing loss,before becoming a taxi driver in Leicestershire for nearly 10 years,before fully retiring from work in 2017. Now live in a beach side flat on the Isle of Wight. Looking for friendship in the first place and then hopefully romance. I am a non smoker and drink socially. I love coastal walking,photography, travel,board games and dare I say heritage steam railways! Life is not about avoiding the storms,but learning to dance in the rain.
