In line with my motto in life, after leaving the Bundestag and the Federal Government, I returned to my trained profession as a lawyer and notary with full conviction. In April 2017, I joined the renowned law firm for which around 500 lawyers and tax consultants work in Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, Heidelberg and Hamburg. First and foremost, I exercise my office as a notary in Frankfurt am Main. As a lawyer, my main focus of activity continues to be in the economic sectors in which I have also been able to gain valuable political experience over the past twenty years: cultural and creative industries as well as "regulated industries", i.e. telecommunications and energy. I also continue to deal with the maritime economy.
