I have dated and been with all kinds of people in my decades (eek!) of relationships and I have come to realize that it really comes down to feeling a kinship with someone. So I'm looking for someone with a similar background to my own. I would describe that as having an urban upbringing, being college educated, and having a reform or secular Jewish existence. Attending a Jewish camp would be a plus in finding common experience! I'm retired so not looking for a workaholic. Travel is important to me so also looking for someone with the interest, time and means to do the same. Also love live musictheater and hikes in the woods with my dog. I live in the Hudson Valley where it's difficult to find the type of man I would like to date so I am open to travelling and am otherwise in NYC quite often.
