Deciding where to move to in the United States.... My roommate is anticipating retirement and making plans to buy a house on or near the ocean... What is your state REALLY like (especially in the Winter). The internet paints a slight picture, but the only way to truely know what it's like to live somewhere is from someone who lives there.
I'm not moving for at least a year, but I don't want to move some place and not like it. Also, when I move i'll be buying a house so I need to make sure I make the right decision, because i'll be stuck there. I enjoy all 4 seasons with an mild Winter as possible. Lower cost of living conveniences not too far away would be nice. I'm a city girl but may be able to handle the country if there are opportunites nearby.
I might even decide to stay in Colorado if I can make it work. I wouldn't mind making some friends to do things with and am not looking for any dates or anything romantic. I have been single for a long time and my life has been much better that way.
