I am recently widowed and new to the area as well as to surfing. I've been directing my own training and prep for the water sport for a handful of years now. It would be great to meet someone who has a passion for surfing and also for coaching newbies such as myself, someone who loves to discuss the sport and the lifestyle. I've been a fan of surfing since childhood, but never had the geographic advantage until now.
I am an natural health enthusiast, organically minded and an appreciator of nature. I have been a tom boy since I could walk, so expect a fishing partner, someone to hike with in the mountains (are there mountains in Texas, lol?!) and exploring natural wonders. I am a Christian, so it would be ideal if my soul mate is as well. I have a 25 year old son that lives with myself and my father in law until we make our transition to my home state of Arizona. My son is a nice young man, but he was remarkably damaged by losing his father at a young age and could use a strong but patient male influence in his life. He and I have been looking forward to surfing together also, as we see it as type of therapy for broken hearts.
