So, here I am having just got back (April 3) from 4 amazing years working in South Africa and Southern Africa in research and NGOs and am very excited about moving back to the UK and using it as an opp to go meet loadsa new people.
A' live wire' with ' an amazing zest for life' as a friend I hadn't seen for 10 years told me recently, I can talk the hind leg offa donkey but am happy listening to anything about everywhere and evereyone else.
I looove travelling, talking about travelling & meeting people from different places, spaces & cultures and everythng that goes with it.
Am serious about doing what I do but realistic enuff to know that I will go mad if I don't chill and have a good laff at me and this wacky, wonderful world in the process.
Am looking forward to some good TV, Earl Grey tea, Terry's chocolate orange, reading the Sunday newspapers and pulling off a new recipe without killing anyone.
But am not looking forward to Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, the Tories, the BNP or being told that Islam, Asylum Seekers and Poles are a problem.
