I work too damn much, and my free time has become very valuable. I’m sick of wasting it. Lately, it’s been rare that I’ve put on anything that wasn’t my pjs or a work uniform. I keep telling myself that one day this will be worth it, but I need to stop treating my free time like it’s limitless. Twenty five. A quarter of a century, and probably more than a quarter of a lifetime. It all goes downhill from here. I’m never going to be this young again. I’m never going to look like a girl in her twenties again. Someday my dancin’ knees are going to give out and I’m going to have to tap my feet from the edge of the dance floor. It’s time to have adventures. It’s time to fill every free moment with something new and exciting, and maybe a little strange and scary.
