Having been on my own for a couple of years now, I'm ready to start opening up to the world again. I have lots of female friends (including ex's who still talk to me!), but noone really special.
As well as being a youth worker (councilling and social education for under 21's), I tend to be the sounding post for my friends when they have problems, so I'd like to meet someone who doesn't mind listening to my stress's occasionally.
Do to 13 years of working in a politically correct organisation, I can be a bit 'right on' at times, its not that I don't have a sense of humour, I just take life far too seriously (...if your not into sarcasm you won't appreciate me).
To be honest I've been dealing with my depression for two years now, and take medication for it, but actually find that an afternoon with my ten year old daughter does me more good, than two Prozac a day.
I'm not trying to get laid, just make some more friends and maybe flirt a little (I'm a Gemini I can't help it), mail me with enlightening thoughts, and insight.
