Relationships can be risky. One minute it's heaven, then the next can be hell. However, one thing I know for sure that there are ups and downs to everything in this life. There are specific qualities that we all want in a mate. Some vary in comparison to others. One that stands out more than anything is being a loving communicator. I use "loving” because anyone can say anything but it’s how you say things that makes it be more receptive. If you give respect, you get respect. On top of communication, you would have to understand even if you disagree. Understanding promotes peace. The other aspects I look for is someone who is beautiful (inside and out), intelligent (not just academically), romantic (even in the smallest gestures), compassionate and not jealous (love isn't that). Someone who is not just my lover, but my best friend and the love of my life.
