I've worked in a lot of countries and run a very small humanitarian charity for a few years. Despite the difficulties, it was easier than taking a masters. Getting help to people who needed it was satisfying, focused and purposeful. I stay in touch with some of the refugees. However, this type of work takes its toll. I need to do more cooking, spend more time in gym, relax.
