Patient, thoughtful and romantic. Happy enough in life, eyesight has been a issue to various degrees since childhood and has caused me frustration (career, never being able to drive ect) but my wellness tool is acceptance.
Have a number of hobbies and interests. Love creative things, crafts, DIY, upcycling ect. I have a passion for photography and graphic design (ironically). Like romance, hand holding, hugs, nights in, occasional nights out, visiting friends and family, exploring places of interest, cooking for together, conversation on many subjects and banter.
I am comfortable in my own company. Have a couple of valued friends and luck to still have my loving parents in my life. But missing that special person in my life that will make me smile inside and out. Plus if I stay single much longer and spend so much time in my own company… I am bound to go perculiar, lol.
Old enough, experienced enough and ugly enough to know that a person's beauty is in their heart. Don't judge or value peoole on their looks, bodyshape, what they have (or haven't got), what they do (or don't do) for a job or what (if any) qualifications they have. All about their personality, their values and how they treat others.
Regardless of my sight impairment and not being able to drive, I am pretty independent, walk miles and happy to travel on bus and train within reasonal distances. Use a white cane (not guide dog). Only limitation in recent years has been walking travelling after sunset (unless aided by someone else).

Have 3 grown up kids (21+) who don't live with me now and have lives of their own. Also so proud to be made a grandad for the first time jan 2020.
