Aloha!
How does one captivate the essence of who they are on paper without it sounding like a resume? I wanted to be 100% truthful, so this is what I came up with:
I am extremely loyal, caring, enthusiastic & idealistic with a positive passion for life. I like to hike, kayak, go for "moonlit walks on the beach", swim, cycle and generally enjoy being active. I love to travel, explore exotic places and experience new things. I'm equally comfortable roughing it in nature or enjoying an elegant evening for dinner and a concert. I enjoy a wide variety of music and love to express myself musically through singing and playing the piano. I'm happiest when I'm actively engaged in doing something fun and adventurous, spending time with family or friends and pursuing my music interests.
On a more personal note, I am spiritually driven to grow and celebrate life to its fullest. I have made my share of mistakes and kept my angels busy at times, but have no regrets. I have learned from each experience and seek to always learn. Life is never boring - I LOVE the journey! I believe that we manifest the things we give energy to, positive and negative, so I focus on the positive. I also greatly value my quiet time to reconnect with Self and energize. I am very blessed to have experienced so much, see full circle, and sometimes revisit where I've been with yet a new level of understanding. I trust that there are no accidents in life. If something is meant to be, it shall. To quote a line from Desiderata, "the universe is unfolding as it should"...so I keep peace with my soul.
What I desire most now, is to share my life with a worthy partner as I have a lot of love to give. However, busy they are, I am number one in their life, and we MAKE the time to spend quality time together. This applies in the beginning as well. I believe to get to know someone, you need to invest the time, otherwise it is only superficial...
