I've been divorced for almost 2 years, and I'm still enjoying the process of self discovery that goes along with that. Left with the kids, cats, dogs, most of my sanity, and all of my sense of humor. Some people say I'm a great conversationalist. Seems that I can still put a few coherent sentences together, which is quite an accomplishment while raising teenagers. I believe in honesty, am loyal, caring, and a hopeless romantic. Kids are almost grown, and spend a good deal of time with their dad, so I'm using my newfound free time to remember the things I enjoyed, before I was MOM... I have a demanding, professional career that I truly love. It affords me the opportunity to travel a few times per year. Have many interests (love the beach, reading, sketching, fishing, motorcycles, camping, shopping, travel...) and am always willing to learn something new. I enjoy casual times (just talking, a walk on the beach) as well as formal events. I'm not Miss America, but not Brunhilda either. Working on some 'self improvement' projects -becoming more fit, both physically and mentally. Do have a tendancy to be somewhat opinionated... especially if I think I'm right, but I'll always listen to an opposing point of view. Try to find something positive in every situation, still believe in the concept of treating others with kindness, and that most people are good-hearted. Just making my way through the craziness that is life, and hoping to find some companionship along the way. I truly enjoy people, look forward to making a new friend here. If something magical were to happen down the road...all the better, this will be time well spent.
