The first thing I might say about myself is that I tend to veer away from self-aggrandizements in terms of appearance or accomplishments. I think of myself as fundamentally sincere, with a large capacity for caring about others, and believing deeply that life has meaning only when you care for others more than for yourself. I value thoughtfulness, honesty and directness, and while rigid in some ways (such as hating to smile on command for the camera), I value spontaneity and the lighter sides of life. My interests include spending time with good friends, working out, listening to music (largely classical, 60's70's rock, some jazz), reading, dining out, movies, etc. Chemistry is important to me, but I also very much believe in my ability to grow a deeper love for the inner values that people must work hard to develop. And so, qualities such as kindness, sincerity, faithfulness, and the capacity to stick with your partner through both good and bad times are attributes that I have learned to cherish.
