While I can be shy to begin with, I warm up quite quickly once a conversation gets started. Honesty, reliability, intelligence and a good sense of humour are important to me. When going out, I generally prefer an environment where it's possible to hold a good conversation. I'm interested in current affairs, except for the latest 'celebrity' gossip. Politically I'm probably on the conservative side of the spectrum, but like to keep a reasonably open mind about most things. Having grown up in a caring, supportive family environment, it would be good to meet someone with a similar value system. While I have plenty of things to keep me occupied, it's more fun to share life's experiences.
