Men! Hi I would really like to meet someone so on here honestly. Just spoken to a guy who is 10 years younger than me and who lives about an hour away. Basically he told me that he would like to meet me but would need to stay the night. Not the first time I have been given this opportunity. What gives the man the right to think he can even suggest this. I know a lot of the men on here are genuine. If I meet someone I want to take my time getting to know him. Was I Wrong I met a lovely man on here but cancelled our second date because a) I don't drive and his round trip would be three hours b) if I had gone to him on public transport it would be an 8 hour trip and c) he lived on a boat - I really want a relationship and maybe I jumped the gun thinking too far into the future |

Only three days left Hi Only three days left until my membership runs out - it's been a very interesting experience. Had one date only in three months - could have been something there but it wasn;t reciprocated, a possible date yesterday but it didn;t work out (don't ask) and someone who kept on telephoning me for a week on his way home from work.and has now disappeared However, I do like this bit of the site. From reading your messages I do know that there are men on the site who are genuinely looking for a relationship which has been in doubt. Replies from my post Hi Since posting this morning I've had some interesting replies and one member has banned me from seeing his profile! A lot of you think I am a serial dater - come on - I am 67 - I should be so lucky to even get a date. I am on here genuinely to meet someone but don't expect to meet someone and immediately click - it just doesn't happen. If it does please let me know. I just view meeting someone as a chance for a chat and a coffee - would love it if things went further. My three months are up in three days time and since joining I have met one person, who I liked but it wasn;t reciprocated, have spoken to someone several times on the phone but nothing came of it and then had the date with the man who didn't like it because I put out another introduction which the site offered me. Dates Just wondered how seriously you take meeting someone - for me it's a cup of coffee with the possibility of friendship maybe something more. Have heard from someone I was due to meet today who got the huff with me because I sent out another introduction out to members so the date has now been cancelled. Afternoon Thank you for everyone who emailed me regarding my previous post - I really appreciate you guys. Have calmed down a bit. Did get one reply from Mr Kipling who seemed to know some of my history ie the club I help run - very strange.
