I am not much of a talker. I don't easily open up to people. But I'd allow you to get into the upholstery of
my life if you really are a friend. Clothes reflect the person. I go for those fairly modern without being
"mod" and slightly unusual without being way-out. I loathe the "on and off switch." I don't switch about once
I've made up my mind about something, I don't change it. I believe that the capacity for happiness is inside
ourselves often in a tiny unexplored cocoon. Before you can get anywhere at all you have to find it. Only
from that instant are you taking the positive steps that can lead to happiness. Hope of obtaining it in any
other way is an illusion. You have to learn to use the capacity to be happy and to deserve it before
happiness becomes a tangible state. I make the most of what I have. I enjoy it while it lasts. I am not
afraid of change. A life that doesn't alter and expand is not developing naturally. Life is full of
surprises... and surprises can give me some of my happiest moments. I am patient. I don't rush my fences. It
would be perfect if I could make a wonderful place and have everybody loving me in five minutes. This just
isn't possible. I have to build gradually. Be patient. Bide my time. Persevere. Be firm, clear and
constructive. Then I will find that I can be happy anywhere at any time. I can't help feeling disappointed
about things at times but I try not to let it get out of control. I have to learn self-discipline. It is the
only thing that makes me mistress of a situation, a woman's strongest defense against disappointment. I am
too sensitive. I am too easily hurt, but it doesn't mean that I don't feel sufficiently secure. I try to be
careful if I am subject to prickly reactions because if I don't guard against them, people will regard me as
a liability and I may miss a lot of fun. I am very warm and thoughtful as a person. I believe that little
things mean a lot!!
