What can I say... checking this out. I know enough about Star Trek to quote "Brain and brain! What is brain?!" Been watching the show since I was a kid. I'm not a hard core trekie - have a friend that can recite the entire Trouble With Tribbles episode so I know there's a higher bar to go from mere fan to trekie.
I love science fiction. I write some, nothing ready for prime time. I tried writing a period short story set in the late 1930's, but time travel leaked in. It tends towards "hard", and I like that the genre requires that I actually do research on science and history.
