Okay so a little about me, I'm a very shy person at first, but that pretty much just means I'll spend a good hour or so thinking about what to say in the first message I send, and that it'll probably still be pretty terrible! So I'll apologise in advance here!
Take this section for example, all I need to do is explain a little about myself so people don't think I'm some serial killer or something, yet I've been coming back to it and rewriting for a while. When really it doesn't even matter! But anyway, I digress, onto the stuff you came here to read (sorry if it ends up sounding like a C.V.)
So, I'm pushing thirty and recently out of a relationship. I'm a budding stand up comedian and I love comedy itself as an art form. I'm also a little bit (minor understatement) of a Nerd, I know this and accept it fully. It doesn't mean I don't know how to talk to people or that I never leave my bedroom or that I don't have a social life or anything like that. It just means I get very passionate about things that spark my interest (don't worry, I know what a pub is, and where most of the decent ones are too!) I've got a whole host of hobbies and interests that most people wouldn't expect me to have if they looked at me (for example I can ride a horse and I used to be able to knit, probably forgotten how by now though - on the flip side of that I can also survive whilst camping in the wilderness, and I'm a dab hand at DIY too)
I recently started a new job (beginning of October) and I seem to being fast tracked to advancement in it, so I think I've found a place to stick with! It certainly helps to pass the time.
