I am 58, I came to live in the Hastings area a year or so ago to recover from a divorce, and, as it turned out, get my left knee replaced, due to arthritis. I am currently looking for work again, but am a little restricted because of the knee, etc. Life has been a bit of a roller-coaster of emotions this last few years, but I am coming out of it now. I am tall, but a bit overweight due to not being able to exercise on the knee. However, I believe I am a kind and decent person, who likes the simple things in life. I love the traditional sports, I am an avid bookworm and I like a visit to a country pub for a carvery or other meal, etc. I love my flat, which I rent, and iv'e been allowed to do it up in my own taste, etc. I keep tropical fish as a relaxing hobby .

im an old roamantic ,my son says i have a weird sense of humour i like to call it unique my memories of my children are two of the things i couldnt live without i love them so much and im not musshy but my mother brought me and my 3 brothers up and i am very close to all of them soppy yes musshy no ,also im the type of man that would rathercuddle on the sofa than go out of nights to clubs

Apparently I'm funny, too generous, sometimes too loyal, too hardworking, layed back and relatively chilled about life when at home. This is the opinion of my friends wife. I don't really know how to describe myself, I'm ok I think, relatively sane. I'd like to meet someone that gives me a reason to say no to doing overtime at work and stops me getting invites to dinner at Christmas because 'otherwise I'd be on my own'! Hobbies wise I have nothing in particular but ill try most things once. I help friends out with diy and gardening when I'm free. I am a perfectionist, I like straight lines! I don't drink due to my job so I avoid pubs, clubs and bars. I'm not fussed about the type of lady I'd like to meet but she needs to have a sense of humour.
