Seeking genuine long term relationshipHi and thank you for taking the time to look. Well apart from the interests such as reading, cinema, eating, drinking, theatre, swimming, science, history and generally a little bit of everything................... you should know I'm pretty self reliant, independent and resourceful. I can wire a plug, understand the workings of the internal combustion engine, recite the first 20 elements of the periodic table and emulsion a wall. However, I know nothing about football, a bit about cricket and no interest in either...I do occaisonally watch the rugby though (but my reasons for doing so have nothing to do with the game...lol)!! Having said all that, it doesn't mean i like being on my own, I am looking for a guy to share great times with, a lover, friend, confidant, a great conversationalist but some-one who can just be quiet and enjoy the peace, some-one who understands my slightly obscure jokes would be great!! It's probably the right thing to do to be brutally honest from the start. I prefer good conversation over coffee or dinner than a night down the local. I enjoy books rather than telly (with the exception of Green Wing, Blackadder and similar),and I listen to Radio 2! I,m interested in the sciences, which we know! A fun day out for me is a trip to Jodrell Bank!but don't be fooled, I'm no sprocket head! I enjoy films, a fan of Ridley Scott but my favourite film is 'The Philadephia Story'..no,not the one with Tom Hanks,the one with Cary Grant. I drink red wine (on occaison to excess)and black coffee (the real stuff)!I moved to the Midlands about 7 years ago with work, I'm on the road and therefore it's been really difficult to meet people locally (especially as I don't spend Saturday night down the boozer). But,I do have a GSOH,just to prove it I know a joke..'what do you call the two green lights and one red light on the back of a boat?'.If you want to know the punchline you'll have to drop me a message, mmm..it's usually funnier after a few pints(of red wine)! Happy to lie on the grass on a frosty night and watch the sky, and stare into rock pools on a balmy day. Some-one who doesn't say 'oh the one one with the eyepatch' when I mention Dr Feelgood, and knows who the Director of Blade Runner is. Enjoys travelling, but loves coming home and would do either or at the drop of a hat! OH and would listen patiently when I rant about work! |
