Thanks for stopping by the shop window that is my life.
I am here to meet new people, find new friends and hopefully find someone I can share my existence with. Beds can be chilly this time of year, especially when the cats are at their midnight kitty committees. (You will need an element of crazy cat lady about you - otherwise please move on!)
So, I'm an active type. Not sporty, but always busy. I like proper pubs, live music, my garden, festivals and sunshine. I'm also happy to curl up in front of an obscure film with a decent wine and roaring fire when festivals, sunshine and gardens are unavailable.
I steer clear of fast food joints and nightclubs. I'm a proper country boy at heart!
My music film TV preference is quite indie and underground. I avoid commercial pop and talent shows... I'm more of an Amanda Palmer Ben Folds Frank Turner kinda guy.
I have no kids, and am not convinced there should be more of me in the future. Never say 'never' though!
As you'll see from my profile, I'm not scared of face-paint, make-up or dressing up. I can run in heels. I am skilled with a hula-hoop. I know these are unusual traits in a man, so thought I'd best mention them!

Hello I'm back looking for someone genuine to enjoy the good times with, and work through and help each other through the not so good times.

Well my teenage daughter needs me less and less now so I am looking for a nice girl as in respectable, family orientated, caring and loyal with old fashioned standards.
As for me, well I am an average guy with a house, job and daughter to maintain. I am happy and relaxed and I am quite presentable with more than one brain cell and a personality. I have a wicked sense of humour and I am down to earth, silly, caring, romantic on occasions, fun loving, open and honest and considered to be everyone's friend and I have no hidden agendas. I am financially independent with my own house and no debts so i don't need anyone elses money.
As a child I lived and surfed in countries all over the world; nine other countries to be precise so I am very well cultured and was overdosed on asian, persian and american cultures amongst other things. I can promise you an interesting story a day for the rest of your life. I can read, write and speak two other languages. Mandarin and Arabic, quite suprising really, considering that I am struggling to speak my native tongue :-)
Oh and I can also read and translate Egyptian hieroglyphics, not that there is much call for that sort of thing :-)
At nearly 6'0 tall without my stilettos, I should be tall enough to accommodate you wearing your high heels and dust the spiders from your ceiling room corners for you. Despite my love for donuts and twinkies, my figure is good with no middle age spread and I have my own teeth and not plastic ones. I did have hair but it is now shaved. I am warm chatty and very nicely mannered, and tactile. I have a good job that keeps me in donuts and twinkies and I dress nicely and always smell nice :-).
I am very family orientated and have a 14 year old daughter who is my life. I love to eat out, enjoy a good night on the tiles, love children and I like shopping, the movies, historical sites, theatre and anything fun. I used to be very sporty and I swam for England at junior level and I was in the British skydiving team.
I enjoy a very busy social life, have lots of friends and like to keep active as well as relaxing at home. I am very excited about the future and there is so much I want to do, exotic vacations, Xmas shopping in New York and just enjoying the simple things in life and it would be nice to have someone special to enjoy those experiences with.
I plan to sell up one day and move to the Florida or Texas coast or if I stay in this country, then Sandbanks seems quite appealing.
Well thats it I think, 7.5 out of 10 for effort I guess and i hope it's good enough for you to have a look at my profile.. Now all I can do is sit back and burn the midnight hour armed with endless cups of coffee and boxes of Tescos donuts hoping for some messages.
